I dont know how photographer's back in the day did it, but being a photographer on Instagram is amazing. People from all around the world get to see your work and draw either inspiration or dialogue from it.

Even with that said, I still see a great amont of photographer's not taking advantage of what the Instagram platform has to offer.

Moving along, besides the fact that anyone in the world gets to see your work (if you use the right hashtags), what I love about Instagram as a photographer is that people get to focus on what's on their screens once more. For a long time, other social media platforms such as le Facebook have created so many ditractions besides the actual newsfeed that I have grown a love hate relationship with it. There's so much going on that viewers and followers easily browse pass the content ( in my case photos) with it never having a second chance.

With Instagram, it stretgthens the connection between the viewer and the content. Our world has become so connected and so full of light yet it is so challenging for viewers to engage. So here's to day 4 of my 30 Days of Fashion project and to a happy Instagram following.

Here's a little snippet from my recent shoot, also on my Instagram
